We have a distribution list but when trying to configure using "Send Email" smart service, the name of the distribution list does not pop up.
Is it possible to send an email to all users in a distribution list?
Do we have to consider any additional steps to achieve this.
Please suggest.

on Appian Cloud when sending email to Distribution group not receiving the emails. Does it work only on Appian standalone permise
If the distribution list is, on the surface, just a regular email address, I believe Appian will not care either way (as it has no inherent way of knowing what the difference is between, say, "mike@company.com" and "appianDevs@company.com") -- I expect in cases like this if the email isn't being delivered, it's most likely an issue on the back-end configuration of the distribution list, such as the email from Appian is getting caught in its spam filter, or other similar possibilities. I'd check and double-check there first.
Not happening on Appian Cloud . email is sent out for individual id on same mail domain but not to the Distribution group on the same email domain.
Hi phanibabuk wrapping the Distribution List Email with toemailaddress() has resolved this issue for us. Is there anything noticeable seen in logs after the email node is executed?
Another option is to create a constant of type email address array and make use if it to send the email
