Hi,
I wanted to ask if there is any plan to replace or if is there any work around to Basic Authentication to Poll emails with POP or IMAP or EWS as it is running out of support based on article here : https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/office/blogs/end-of-support-for-basic-authentication-access-to-exchange-online-apis-for-office-365-customers/
For full context I am referring to procedure described here : https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/19.3/Mail_Server_Setup.html#configuring-appian-to-poll-an-email-account
Thanks in advance for the answers/advice .

Hi Jacob,
I had a reminder set to check in on this. Do you know if anything has been done to address this change? End of support for this is October 13th, 2020.
Thank you!Tj
Hey TJ,
In response to COVID-19, Microsoft has delayed the deprecation of Basic Authentication for Exchange online until the second half of 2021: https://ap.pn/2YmtDAB
However, a plugin has been developed in order to enable the same use case using Microsoft Graph with OAuth support. It is currently being tested, and if all goes well I would expect it to be on the App Market by the end of September.
To clarify, are you currently using the Poll Email from Microsoft Exchange EWS API plugin? https://ap.pn/3l0eFtM
Hi Colton,
Is there any new information about plugin that is being developed and tested?
Thanks in advance.
Hi, any update on this?
Their latest announcement says it will happen this month. Will it break mail configurations for Appian? How do we mitigate this?techcommunity.microsoft.com/.../3695312
