Hi nicholaso0002 Few points I can think of:Create a schema in SQL using command Then sql(Cloud DB) will auto generate url, username, password as wellNow add that schema in Admin Console of your environment using those url, username, password generated by Sql(Cloud DB) click on testConnection connection will be successfulFinally Now your are good to create a DataStore for specific application Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.
The SQL Database in on-premise not cloud.
How can this be achieved.
Yes we can do the same for MySql As wellLike you know, Create a schema in Mysql give grant permissions for that schema + (ddl, dml...etc) permissions with this you need to have MySql username & password for configuring userName then password in AdminConsoleNow add that credentials in Admin Console of your environmentFinally your good to create dataStore now. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.
Thank you. But, I understand the process of adding the data source. Also, i know how to get SQl username and password.
My question is how can an Active Directory account (e.g amazon\<username>) be used to configure the SQL connection when adding a new business data source on-premise.
Note: I don't have an issue using the SQL generated username and password. I am looking to see if AD user account can be used instead.
