Works for me. Which version are you on?
a!queryRecordType( recordType: 'recordType!{SYSTEM_RECORD_TYPE_USER}User', fields: 'recordType!{SYSTEM_RECORD_TYPE_USER}User.fields.{SYSTEM_RECORD_TYPE_USER_FIELD_firstName}firstName', filters: { a!queryFilter( field: 'recordType!{SYSTEM_RECORD_TYPE_USER}User.fields.{SYSTEM_RECORD_TYPE_USER_FIELD_active}active', operator: "=", value: true ) }, pagingInfo: a!pagingInfo(1, 5000) ).data
Thanks for the reply. I am using version 23.2.
Perhaps you need to upgrade the Record Type if you haven't done it before?

Thank You! It works perfectly on my personal laptop, where I use version 23.3. But in my organization-provided work environment the 'UPDATE NOW' is disabled, so I can't update it.
Is it related to profile level security configuration in version 23.2?
I would assume it requires admin privileges.

I had the same issue, but I was pulling the object list from the application specific Appian Designer as opposed to searching for the User Record type from the all applications Appian Designer. All is now working.
