I am new to Appian and I have recently started the Appian Developer learning path. When I go to request my site, I get an email saying I cannot be provided with an environment at this time. Not sure how I will be able to progress in the course without my environment. I started this learning path yesterday. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Nikhil,
Sorry to say this has been an occasional concern around here in the last several(+) months. Until they roll out a newer approach to individual CE environments, I'm afraid your only option for the moment will be to have some patience and occasionally send an email to the address listed in your screenshot, reminding them that you're a student trying to complete the training paths.
Apart from what Mike mentioned, Are you working under a company that has an Appian partnership? If yes, they should have a company environment that you can request access to and complete the rest of the training there.
Hi Mike,
Thanks for the timely response. That's very unfortunate to hear. Any timeline for when a newer approach will arrive? Was hoping to complete the Associate Developer Certification before my graduation in May.
Hi Harshit,
Unfortunately, I am a student in college.
I'll offer you this - the academy courses have existed for many years now, and the CE environments by contrast have only been out for a couple of years. Generally (if i remember correctly) there are ways to progress thru the Academy content on your own, though it may be more of a pain. My advice for you must defer back to having a bit of patience and gently re-inquiring periodically via email, reiterating each time that you're an actively-engaged academy student.
Sounds good. I think it is important to gain hands-on experience working within the environment. I will keep sending emails! Thanks for the help.
did you received ? environment. ?
