Application specific Permission

Hi - I want to add a new user as Basic user who should be able to see Appian Designer only with specific Application let say "ABA" - nothing else in designer. How to achieve this? I created a user and added to  designer which is added that person to Database and other groups as well which i don't want. I want that user to be administrator of the specific Application "ABA"

Please guide how to achieve this? Documentation is very high level, and self-paced training is not helpful.

Hi   first create a user with basic user type.

    • Open Appian Designer and navigate to the ABA application.
    • Click Application Security and add the new user with Administrator or Editor rights .
    • Since adding a user to the default Designers group grants access to all applications, you need to use a custom group.
    • Assign this group to the ABA application security.Add the user to ABA Designers (instead of the system "Designers" group).
    • Ensure the user Is NOT added to the security of any other application.
    • In Admin Console > Groups, manually add the ABA Designers group to the Designers role.
