Excel Tools plugin question

I am trying to use the Export Process Model Details smart service in the Excel Tools plug in. There are only 2 inputs, document name and folder. When I run the process, it does create an Excel file, but it is empty. I reviewed the readme file for the plug in, but it doesn't have any information about this smart service. I am missing something? Thanks.
