I am trying to create a custom expression function plugin that creates a link to somewhere within Appian. Part of the URL requires the "appian_environment" parameter. Can someone tell me what function in the API can dynamically tell me what environment the user is in? I'd like to avoid hard coding the URL to the "apps" environment....

I'm not sure about the API, but I use a rule to get the environment url for processes. It's under APN_getSiteUrl in the Appian Common Objects.
