error with parse excel to CDT smart service.

Question

hi , 
 i need to parse data in excel sheet file to CDT .. but i face error "There is a problem with task &ldquo;Parse Excel to CDT&rdquo; in the process &ldquo;excel_Process&rdquo;. java.lang.NullPointerException" 
 because the excel sheet data started with row#3

is there other way to save data in excel to CDT ?

A good way to achieve this is to use the shared component Excel Tools. In this component there is an expression called readexcelsheet that takes in a document, sheetNumber, and startRow. It then parses the document and returns an "ExcelSheetResultSet" which contains data similarly to a datasubset. You can use this tool to make each row in your excel sheet an instance of a CDT.
