Replacement for Parse CSV Document plugin

Hi All, 
 I was using Parse CSV document plugin, but now this plugin is deprecated and moved to Excel tool plugin. In Excel tool there is no similar plugin to Parse CSV file. We made changes in our implementation where we now manually convert .csv file to .xlxs. But when we convert file in .xlsx then excel file is removing the leading and trailing Zero's. 
 For example: Value in .cvs - 123.10; 0123 
 Value in .xlxs - 123.1; 123 
 I have also checked making change in cell format of excel sheet to text. But we do not want to make any changes in Excel sheet. Can anyone help me here so that the leading and trailing zero's doesnt get removed.

Hi Sayali, you can avoid the problem of excel being too helpful for its own good by putting a ' (single quote) in front of the number in the sheet. Then, simply use a stripwith() to remove the ' from the actual data once you want to put it in whatever variable you have

I agree with Ramesh & Nicholas. 
I think a single Quote in front of the number will solve the problem here.
