I am using "Update User Profile (Advanced) Plug-in" but when I changed the value of a customFiled apparently the node reset the user's locale/language (this is not a custom field).
I set my language to German originally and after running a process model with the "Update User Profile (Advanced)" node, my language was set back to English.
Does anyone know if this is intentional? Or any way to prevent that happening?
(Note: I added a "Set user's locale" after the node but I do need to re-login to apply my preferences changes)

Review the Administration Console (admin console) settings:
It's possible that the internationalization settings in the admin console are overriding user-selected language settings.
More information is available in the documentation, here.
If the requirement is to allow end users to user Appian in different languages, then the individual languages must be enabled, and the override should not be checked.
