import CSV to database getting 403 Access denied

Hi All,

 Appian 17.4 version

I am uploading a a csv file having 20000 rows , the csv file size is around 1.26 Mb .

 Using Import CSV to database plugin for that . While uploading the data , after 4-5 min  I am getting a popup for  403 Access  denied error on the screen  and so it never shows the success screen .But in the background the Process is still alive and able to load the 20000 rows in the table .

I tried debugging that and in the browser network tab   I can see that call has been aborted and in the browser console i can see the error as "failed to load resource  the server /suite/rest/a/-/upload-data/action   responded with a status 504 ".

Can anyone help me to understand that it is the plugin issue ? which times out after some time or some thing else ?

  • It could be a plugin issue then. But it shouldn't take that long to update 20k rows. If this is not confidential data, then would it be possible for you to send me the file and I can try it.. If it works for me then probably it is not a plugin issue. Let me know if you can't send the data and I will create a dummy file to test it out. My email is aman.sandhu@procensol.com.au
