Deployment Automation Manager

Question

I am looking into the Deployment Automation Manager plugin and was wondering if both of the tools, Automated Import Manager and Automated Versioning Manager, can be used for a cloud-based Appian project? It seems the Automated Import Manager is able but I am not sure on the Versioning Manager tool. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The versioning manager does not connect to an Appian instance anyway since it only operates between you VCS and a users local machine.

As per my understanding versioning manager cannot be used on cloud instance because we cannot access the console. Appian has the control on the linux console.
