Numbers are getting converted to Hexadecimal while reading excel

Question

Hi All, 
 I am using the function "Read Excel Cell by Number" to read an excel column which contains numbers. 
 While reading the column, few of the numbers are getting converted as Hexadecimal numbers. 
 I tried to 
 1. convert the received text to integer 
 2. format the excel cells to accept only numbers 
 But still no luck. 
 Could anyone please help me in understanding the reason for this issue!

Can you please, try converting the received text to decimal using todecimal() function inside the script task?
