Hi all,
We have a Problem in Appian 18.4 on Premise in all the Environments using the "Appian Collab / Filesystem Utilities" plugin when we try copy a file from a Windows Server into our Appian Linux Server.
When we execute the node Move From Win to Unix we get the following error message:
IOException: jcifs.smb.SmbException: Failed to connect:xxxxxx jcifs.util.transport.TransportExceptionjava.net.SocketException: Connection reset at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(SocketInputStream.java:210) at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(SocketInputStream.java:141) at jcifs.util.transport.Transport.readn(Transport.java:29) at jcifs.smb.SmbTransport.peekKey(SmbTransport.java:388) at jcifs.smb.SmbTransport.negotiate(SmbTransport.java:288) at jcifs.smb.SmbTransport.doConnect(SmbTransport.java:319) at jcifs.util.transport.Transport.run(Transport.java:241) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:748)
at jcifs.util.transport.Transport.run(Transport.java:258) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:748)
The question is, do we Need to install and configure Samba in the Unix System? If so, which Version?
It is important to mention that the plugin works fine copying files from another Windows Server, so that suggests to me that the Problem happens configuring Samba in the Windows Server.
Any idea?

The Problem was that SMB 1.0 has been disabled in our organization. We are now planning to replace Samba (SMB) with SFTP
