I'm looking into ways to retrieve text from a PDF in Appian beyond the ones I'm currently aware of, which includes the PDF tools plugin or Google integrations.
The PDF tools plugin doesn't preserve the order of text in a document well, and Google integration options do not work for all customers for a variety of reasons. Is anyone extracting PDF content through a different tool? Preferably not proprietary enterprise purchase tools, but I'd like to compile a list of those as well.

Can someone please help me with this query as i need to retrieve text from pdf .I am using Appian 18.4 version.So I will not be able to use IDP.
