We are having 2 envs
Test
Preprod
In Test we have both Content Tools and Appian Object information retriever plugins. We used the function getcontentObjectDetailsById() function in one of the rule
and created a patch.
In Preprod there is only Content Tools installed. Now when we are trying to import the patch it is showing us the Plugin dependency Error.
Even though in Test environment we pointed to the function which is available in the Content Tools package.
What should be done to avoid this dependency.
Any thoughts pls.

Is there a reason you can't deploy the plugin to the preprod environment? It's usually good practice to ensure your environments all have the same plugins.
yes there is a reason peter, the reason is we are on cloud environment in preprod. and when we are deploying the plugins it is not available in Appian market so it is not coming in our results only the Content tools is coming.
Which Appian version is your test and preprod environment on? Will you be able to upload/share the exact error you're seeing?
we are on 20.3 and we are getting dependencies warning in the import screen
