The available data types for inputs are detailed at
forum.appian.com/.../Custom_Smart_Service_Plug-ins
to my knowledge you cannot take AnyType but you can receive CDTs
forum.appian.com/.../Defining_a_Custom_Data_Type
and the Eclipse Plug-in has an option to import an XSD creating the POJO automatically so your inputs can easily be defined as:
@Input(required = Required.ALWAYS)
@Name("Employee")
@Type(namespace = "
http://mytypes/suite/types/"
, name = "Employee")
public void setEmployee(Employee val) {
this.employee = val;
}
