I have imported a custom plug-in "Update User Profile (Advanced) Plug-in" for extending the user object attributes. This plugin provides 11 input fields (User Name and Custom Field 1-Custom Field 10).

1. All the Custom Fields are of type "Text" and is not editable. Is there way i can change it to another data type or even a CDT?
2. Is there way i can change the names of these Custom Fields1-Custom Field 10 to make it more meaningful.

We also use this plugin. I created several rule functions to access and set the fields. So the actual name of the field is not important anymore. The datatype of the fields can not be modified AFAIK.
