Send File Over SFTP not working in 22.2

After the 22.2 upgrade our processes that use Send File Over SFTP is not working correctly. We confirmed the file is being generated as it is being stored in the expected folder in Appian and process is running successfully but the file is not being placed/sent in the SFTP/MFT site configured. We confirmed that the service account we are using have access to the target directory in the site. We also checked with the SFTP/MFT administrator for the logs and confirmed that the file we generated in Appian is not being received in the site. Our processes that retrieves files in the site then loads to Appian doesn't have any issues. We are currently using the 2.2.2 version of SFTP Functions plugin.

In this case I would suggest to raise Appian support ticket and they should be able to help you.

  • As per Appian Support, The Send File Over SFTP Node is part of plug-in functionality. Plugins that are made available through Appians App Market are custom extensions of the Appian platform that are developed, shared and supported by our Community members rather than through Appians software engineering organization. Appian Support is responsible for reviewing custom plugin code for compliance to Appian Cloud security policies and also for assisting customers with deploying plugins to their Appian Cloud sites. However the wide array of custom plugins and their respective functionality are outside of Appian Support's purview, so we are unable to provide useful guidance on this matter.
