I am trying to user the Parse Excel Spreadsheet to CDT plugin. I am using a User Input screen to select the file to import but when I use that document in the plugin I get an error:
Can't open the specified file: 'C:\\Users\\BPD_AP~1\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\poifiles\\poi-ooxml-762810725.tmp'
Does Appian use this folder temporarily for holding the file. When I upload the file I have a folder the file is saved to within Appian and the file is there. But it doesn't appear the plugin is using the file and location. Any help would be appreciated....

Hi Leslie,
The Smart Service currently supports only *.xlsx files.
If you use the *.xls file or any other Excel format, the Smart Service will throw the Error that you have been experiencing. In order to make this work, you need to create a new Excel file with the data from the previous one and save it as a *.xlsx file. Upload this Excel file to the System Knowledge Center and then re-map your process to use this new *.xlsx file.
Let me know if this helps!
