Plug-In Name: Portal Utilities
Hi, We are trying to use this cloud approved plug-in inorder to facilitate our application users to change their alert settings. Core need is, disabling the task notifications. We tried useing the "Edit Alert Settings For User" smart service as well as the sample process to disable the email notification for "New Task Assigned to Me" & "New Task Assigned to Me and Others", even though it runs without any error(no trace in system log), but it doesn't impact the alert settings, user continue to receive the alert emails.

Has any one used this plugin? Any help for the mentioned situation?...

  • I just tested this on Appian 7.6 and worked fine:

    1. Have a look at the attached video to see if there's something we are doing differently.
    2. Make sure the process is executed by a system administrator account
    3. And that the user you are checking is indeed part of the group provided in the start form.
    4. Do you have any custom settings is custom.properties of type

    server.conf.notifications.*
