I would like to know if there is a plugin that allows extracting data marked as "tags" in .doc/.docx documents I would need the same functionality that the PDF Tools plugin allows with .pdf files (getPDFFormField, getPDFText, etc.) but for MS Word files Thank you very much in advance and farewell.

There isn't a native Appian plugin designed specifically for extracting data marked as "tags" in .doc/.docx documents.
Workaround could be, you can convert the worddoc to pdf using smart service and then use pdf functions to extract fields. Let me know if this works.

For instance, you could transmit the data to an AI model like ChatGPT and instruct it to generate the desired tags or extract the required data. Additionally, there are numerous other workarounds you can consider investigating.
