Hello Sandeep Quick question earlier used to work in environment or you build recently?
Hi Shubham,
Currently same smart service is working in another DEV environment for same application. We have just deployed the same objects to newly created dedicated DEV environment for same application. Now also this smart service is working in another DEV environment but failing in this newly created DEV environment. Both DEV environments are in Appian version is 23.2v.Let us know for more information.
Interesting!!There might be environment-specific differences. I would suggest you try thisCheck the Appian error logs for more specific details about the "null" error. It might pinpoint the exact issue. Also, double-confirm all settings in the Export SQL to Excel smart service within the new environment. Make sure the SQL query and output formatting are configured correctly.
Thanks Shubham,Will check on these points and get back here with updates.Regards,Sandeep
Could you please confirm Appian error logs means we need to check in both designer.error and tomcat.std logs correct?
"Hi Sandeep,
Yes, you are on the right track. Checking both the designer.error and tomcat.std logs would be beneficial as they could provide detailed insights into what might be causing the 'null' error in your newly created DEV environment. These logs often capture different aspects of the system's behavior and errors:
designer.error
tomcat.std
Thanks Srini, will check on these logs.
