Hi all, We are developing a custom map component using Appian’s Component Plugin SDK to render an interactive map using ArcGIS. The map rendering and logic will be handled entirely within the custom plugin. We want to display standard Appian UI components (such as interfaces using a!formLayout, a!dropdownField, etc.) on top the map rendered by the plugin. Is there a recommended way to: Overlay or position Appian UI components above or within the same space as a custom plugin component?

So you have an Appian interface that embeds your GIS component which then in turn shall embed an Appian Interface ...
So, Appian supports embedding interfaces into external web apps. But I have no idea whether your use case is supported. I suggest to contact Appian to discuss this.
