Hi everyone,
I was trying to create a table inside my Word Template and I wanted to you use the "Advanced Document Templating" Shared Component:
forum.appian.com/.../summary
I couldn't install it successfully - did anyone install this plug-in before?
TIA!
Thanks a million in advance!

Hi Lins,
Which version of Appian are you using? This shared component is compatible with Appian 7.6 and above versions.

I couldn't open the zip file downloaded on my desktop. Or I should just copy the file to somewhere? Never install a plug-in before. Thanks a lot in advance!

@lins If you never installed a plugin before, it would be worth having a look at 'Deploying Plug-ins' section at

@sikhivahans, thanks so much for sharing. Do you know where APPIAN_INSTALL/_admin/plugins/ is located? I didn't fine it in my dev environment.

The path mentioned above refers to folder hierarchy of actual Appian instance installed on your windows machine.
Ex: C:/appian76home/...
