Change the type of a group from "Custom"

Is anyone aware of a plug-in that will allow you to change the type of a group from "Custom" to a different "Custom Group Type"? I have existing groups of type "Custom" that should have really been created with a different Custom Group Type and would like to address this issue.

If are familiar with building appian plugins, you can use the the following APIs from GrouppService intefrace to change group type - changeGroupTypeOfGroup or changeGroupTypesOfGroups
