Is there currently any way to reset the password of a user. I already read the discussions. I know of the personalization plugin and it's recent changes. I want to provide a process to the IT department so they are able to perform their processes without having to use the designer environment. Creating users, group management etc. is easy to implement. Appian best practice is to create processes for administration. But for password reset this currently seems not possible.

I also would like so see Appian enable the ability to reset passwords without the need to use the designer environment. Fingers crossed for newer versions.

I find it very strange that this feature was deprecated yet the 'Reset Your Password' link remains on the login page.

I think the point is they're trying to shift to using only that link on the login page, even though it doesn't account for environments with alternate security setups, or environments where an outgoing e-mail server isn't (or can't be) set up.
