Installed Process Model Utilities plugin in our 7.9 Dev environment. Created a simple process to try to set Viewer rights to a support group by Process Model ID. The node errors out and log shows nullpointer. Thoughts?

1. Would you mind providing a screenshot of how you configured the node?
2. Also include the full stack trace of the error so I can see in what line the error occurred
3. I'll also need the version of this plug-in. Simply navigate to <APPIAN_HOME>\\_admin\\plugins and write down the name of the JAR of this plug-in (e.g. Component Download
ProcessModelUtilities-2.8.0.jar)

It might be you're running an older version. The latest one is 2.8.0 and as stated in its record (
forum.appian.com/.../summary)
in 10-01-2014 a bug with this node was fixed.

1) See attached for the config. I was just testing it out so just set a variable to one of the process model IDs.
2) See attached for the stack trace.
3) I just DL the plugin yesterday. Here is what it shows in the admin console:
Process Model Utilities (v2.8.0) [ProcessModelUtilities]
Functions:
FilterCustomCleanupWithinGivenDays,
GetPMAlertsRecipients,
GetPMCleanupSettings
Smart Services:
Delete Process Model Version,
PM Cleanup Settings Setter,
PM Custom Dashboard Remover,
PMAlertsRecipientsSetter,
PPDashboardSetter,
Process Dashboard Remover,
Set Model Security,
Update Custom Sender

I have fixed this bug and released a new version (v2.8.1). This was happening because you were only setting Would you mind downloading it and installing it in your environment?

I have fixed this bug and released a new version (v2.8.1). This was happening because you were only setting the Viewers, which is fine, but the plug-in was expecting all roles to have a value.
Would you mind downloading it and installing it in your environment?

That sort of worked, thanks Eduardo. It goes through without any errors, however it removes the groups or users that were previously assigned regardless of access level. Can it do an "Add" instead of replacing?
