I have an eclipse with Appian plugin. Everytime I am done with my plugin code I use to create its jar by choosing "Appian -> Export Plug-In Package".
Today for some reason it is not working (never happened before). Any clues ?

Probably it might be exporting but the jboss is not picking up. I have seen in rare occasions plug-ins not getting overwritten when deployed because of this. Try to stop JBOSS, delete the old plug-in from the plug-in directory and deploy the plugin from eclipse. Let me know if it works.

I am not using JBoss. I am just trying to export the jar to the Desktop so that I can raise a ticket to Appian Technical Support by attaching that jar, to be deployed in a cloud environment. It is not getting exported at all.

I got similar issue before. After restarting Eclipse, the issue was gone automatically.

I restarted the eclipse, it failed to export the jar, then I restarted the system as well, still, no luck. Is there any other way to create a plugin jar ?

Is it reporting an exception? Eclipse has log perhaps you could have a look there?

Issue resolved, I closed all projects, then opened the current one and then I was able to export its jar. Not a logical way, but worked for me.

An other issue is File > Export, choose your project et Browse where you want. You have .jar of your project.
