Advanced Document Templating

I have manged to create a document using a two-level XML structure of the kind shown in the ADT documentation - eg
<project>
<name>Project Name</name>
<developer name='John' surname='Smith'/>
<developer name='Paul' surname='Emsley'/>
</project>

As mentioned in ADT guide it will accept XML string which has only one main element which is the root of all the mapped values.
