Hello Everyone,
Please let me know if you have inputs. This error is coming for older instances but I do see this pv in the node "Set External P Vs Activity". I also added this pv in the running instance on the parent models
There is a problem with task “Set External P Vs Activity” in the process
Problem: An error occurred in executing an Activity Class.
Details: The user account for java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Could not find PV: bSkipTask could not be created. (APNX-1-4160-000)
Recommended Action: Examine the activity class to correct the error and then resume.
Priority of this problem: High Priority

The older instances of process model are instantiated in the older version of the process model. If you have added pv's in the newer versions, the older instances will not have it.

By using "Set External P Vs Activity", if you add pv's in the newer version the older instance pv's does not hold the value . Better to start the flow again..it will work

You could consider using the process upgrade API to get the older versions upgraded to newer versions while retaining their state, this would allow you to the set the variable. You need to exercise caution when upgrading as the new versions may be very different from the older.
