Im using v1.1.4 of the LDAP Tools plugin to sync users from an Active Directory

Im using v1.1.4 of the LDAP Tools plugin to sync users from an Active Directory LDAP and I have a few questions.
As part of the sync, if the user is not currently in Appian, the user is created. Is the password from LDAP also transferred and if not, what password is given?
If the password is transferred, do you still need to setup LDAP Auth via the Admin console?

Ldap sync doesn't sync passwords. Ldap sync only creates/updates users' details. If you want to user ldap for authentication, as Tom said, you need to configure in admin console. And again, ldap password is not stored in Appian.
