Is there an Outlook add-on for Appian where we can act on Appian Tasks from the Outlook?

I understand that Appian is encouraging it's user friendly social interface instead of using any other user interface, But in some cases, especially with Government clients, business users are preferred to have an outlook component something similar to the add-on provided for Skelta BPM. AFAIK currently there's no similar outlook plugin.

I do not know of any Outlook plugin, but Exchange has a web API which you can use to create tasks. These tasks can have an URL to call back when the task is completed. I did not implement anything but had a detailed look at it. Maybe it is worth trying.

There is a chrome extension that lets you do this in gmail. I know not what you asked but thought it may be useful forum.appian.com/.../e-152835
