Hi,

We designed a fill-able pdf form with two text fields(one read only and other editable) using Adobe Live Cycle Designer and tried to pass Arabic values to it using 'PDF Doc from Template' smart service. The output pdf doesn't seems to be as expected. The read only field doesn't displays the passed Arabic characters, but the editable field displays the Arabic values only when we clicks on text box. We tried changing the form locale to 'Arabic' and font to 'Adobe Arabic' in live cycle designer but no luck. Any suggestion to handle this issue will be greatly helpful.

Amer - I do not think that the version of Adobe LiveCycle that you are using will work, it does not support Arabic even if you use the PDF form that you provided without passing values to it.
Please check with Adobe if they have a ME version of this software.
