Is there any shared component that would allow for the creation of folders in a shared directory?

No, I need to create a folder in a directory outside of Appian and then copy filed to it to be consumed by an outside process. There is a plugin to copy the files from Appian to a specified location, but I have been unable to find anything to create a folder,
