@naveenp Did you consider the 'Follow' feature available for a Record?

To the best of my knowledge, Subscribe or Unsubscribe will only control what category posts we can or can't see in the Forum based on our interest.

Whereas when a Record is 'Follow'ed, notifications will be pushed via email automatically about the updates being made in the corresponding Record.

AFAIK, 'Follow'ing a Record in Shared Components is the only way but let's see if any other practitioners can suggest a new and better alternative.
