I have deployed an appian plugin and after deployment i realized that i have to change an input type. When i deployed it this time it was throwing me an error in server.log for changing the input type. But when i removed the same plugin from my server and again deployed the plugin , it is still throwing me the same error(cannot change the input parameter for an plugin). Can anyone explain me this behavior? Thanks in advance.

You need to create it as a new smart service with a new key if you change the inputs

Deleting and redeploying does not work. You have to create a new smart service as mentioned by @jims419 . Refer to the section on Upgrading and Versioning at
