I have a plugin which was in a working state.
I have added a new function to it and incremented the plugin version.
I deployed it and now I am getting the error "Unable to scan for host components in plugin classes".
Any idea what might be the issue?

That is correct. Our Product Team is aware of this and this will be fixed in a future version.
