Read Excel Spreadsheet to CDT plug-in

I no longer see the "Read Excel Spreadsheet to CDT" plug-in in Shared Components on the Forum. Is it supported? Or has it been deprecated in favor of "Excel Tools"?

Ramesh- agreed, that is why I think "Excel Tools" may be the replacement. But I'd like some official confirmation, as well as any migration steps we need to be aware of as we transition.

That is correct. Excel Tools is the official plug-in to contain all Excel related components.

Peterh, be very careful when considering to deploy the new Excel Tools plugin. It does not play nicely with existing Excel-related plugins.
If you don't currently use any of the old ones, you're in the clear, however, don't attempt to deploy the new one on top of the existing ones. In my experience, this resulted in conflicts that Appian hasn't been able to resolve.

Colton, thanks for the info. We removed the old plugins before we deployed the new plugin so I think we're okay there. But we've not updated any code, and the objects seem to transition with no issue. Any code-related issues that you ran into?

Our issues were specifically with the getdatasubsetdownloadlinkfromprocess function, as both Excel Tools and Download DataSubset (Cloud) plugins reference it.
You're probably in the clear if you're not currently using this.
