Could you tell me if the Poll Filesystem Folder uses any type of encryption? OriginalPostID-247790

Appian does not have such Poll System Folder capability out of the box. I am assuming you are referring to the custom smart service "Poll Filesystem Folder" from forum.appian.com/.../ Filesystem Utilities

If that is the case, I can confirm, by looking at the code, that all the plug-in is doing is: it retrieves the full path, file name and date modified of every file in the given path. It does not transfer the documents anywhere, thus no encryption is required and it does not encrypt this three fields.

If you're referring to "Move To Collab" part of the same plug-in, that one does copy a file from disk to Appian but does NOT use encryption either.
