plugin error - base64

servlet plugin using Base64 class from common codec jar is throwing error during runtime "Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/commons/codec/binary/Base64"

I have the commons-codec-1.4.jar placed in /hosting/appian/ear/suite.ear/lib folder. But still getting No class found error. Any help appreciated .

Hi Senthil.. I am also working on a plugin related to pdf and I have tried using both pdfbox.jar and itextpdf.jar but receiving class not found exception error. I have included all external jars in classpath as well as in lib-compile folder. Can you please help me with the what steps you have performed to include the external files in to your packaging to deploy please?
