I have a question regarding "Execute Stored Procedure" plug-in. There is no output that the plug-in provides for capturing return/error code and error message. I was wondring if anyone had suggestions about the best way to capture this information for the purpose of error handling in Appian....

You should increase your smart service logging to debug (appian_log4j.properties). That should provide you more information on where it is breaking or not functioning as expected.
