Max document size with Advanced Call Web Service smart service

We are using Advanced Call Web Service smart service to send/receive documents from a webservice. So far we are only dealing with small documents (<2 MB) and everything is fine. Any idea what max file size is supported and what the recommendation would be? (I could not just do trial and error because of ESB limitations)
