Did you check the tomcat-stdout log file for any details?

Hi Ravi Chandra  I have also faced this issue in my case I forgot to add the interface security to the service account referring to the portal can you check that. I hope this helps you.

I have gone through tomcat-stdOut.log and I found below Error,

ERROR com.appiancorp.publicportal.service.PortalAdministrationServiceImpl - getUrlPreview: failed due to I/O exception
java.net.UnknownHostException: portal-administration-service.cloud.k8s.customer.appian-customer.com: Name or service not known.

It's already there did I miss anything else?

 Ravi Chandra, that error message "Name or service not known" is unexpected. If you continue to see that error, please consider opening a support case. There is no workaround as far as I'm aware.

Are portals enabled on your account?  FYI the service costs extra, over and above the normal Appian Cloud hosting costs, and this is the exact error message I get (for instance) when I try to publish one in my environment where we do not have them enabled.  (Note: you didn't specify whether you're referring to a Community Edition instance, which does have portals, or a regular cloud instance, etc, so I'm assuming it might be the latter.)

If possible, make the following tests in order to find where is the problem located.

• Use an admin user (if you aren't using one actually)
• Change the interface and use a different one,  with no parameters if possible
• Are you using any function like fromjson or similar in your portal?
• Sometimes an alert icon appears in the portal definition (top banner) where you can find details about the error. Can you check it please?
