Re-Assignment of task

Hello,

Is there any function, smart service or plug in for re-assignment of task without opening the actual task form, like I have "to user", "from user", "task Id" from dropdown in a summary page. The summary page is like having a product details with the seven tasks in sequence, each task having two dropdowns  for current status of the task and current assignee as default user ( lead role ), once lead role received the task, the lead should able to re-assign the task from that assignee dropdown without opening the task.
