I have setup an inline task so that my users can approve the task in Tempo. I noticed that when the task is assigned to a team, a pop-up appears stating "Do you want to accept this task". However, if the task is assigned to a 'User' the pop-up does not appear. Is there a way to turn off this pop-up in Tempo for inline tasks assigned to teams? See attachement for details....

There is no way to turn off this feature. This is due to the default behavior of the product when the task is assigned to a group someone in the group needs to accept the task but this is automatically done if the task is just assigned to and individual

Consider running multiple instances(spawning on assignees) for the task node so that each assignee gets one task(enable one to one assignment in assignment tab), and also configure the flow to “Move on” when the first instance finishes(Other tab settings). In this way when the first person completes the task all other tasks assignments for other persons in the same group are aborted. And you won’t get “Do you want to accept this task…” pop-up by the virtue of one to one assignments. Hope this helps and let me know if I took it in a wrong way.

Gouthamk, I tried to setup a task as you suggested. However, there is no 'One to one assignment' setting on the Assignment task. I'm running v7.3. Is that setting available in v7.3
The task node is setup to Run one instance for each assignee and Move on when the first instance is done.

At the bottom of the properties box is a small box you need to check the Show Advanced Options box.. You will then see "'One to one assignment' " option

Thanks Margaret. I missed the 'Show Advanceed Options' box on the Assignment tab. These settings work for me. :)

One last thing. I noticed that the other task instances do not abort. The are still assigned and other members of the team can accept and submit them. Is there a way to have the other task instances cancelled or aborted once one of the tasks is completed?

I had to put an exception on the inline task that is setup to run mulitiple instances (spawning on assignees). Once one of the task instances is approved, the other tasks are skipped and aborted via the exception.
Is this an exceptable way to handle this?
