Hi All
I am currently working on version 22.3!!
I have a use case wherein one of my current process is started when an external system sends email on the process model id i.e.: processmodel<id>@companydev.appiancloud.com( here dev represents the Appian environment). The requirement is that:The system can receive external mails using company's SMTP i.e. @company.com rather than @companydev.appiancloud.com.
Would like to know is there a way I can do this? I have read the the topic "Legacy configurations" in the link below but I am not able to understand what does reply-to-address means and will it even help me in my problem: https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/22.3/Sending_an_Email_Message_to_a_Process.html#starting-a-process-using-an-email
Thanks in advance!!

Is this about SENDING or RECEIVING email?
Hi
It is about receiving email to trigger an Appian process.
Let me dissect your initial post
This is about RECEIVING
I have a use case wherein one of my current process is started when an external system sends email on the process model id i.e.: processmodel<id>@companydev.appiancloud.com( here dev represents the Appian environment).
This is about SENDING
The requirement is that:The system need to send external mails using company's SMTP i.e. @company.com rather than @companydev.appiancloud.com.
Some hints:

Thanks Stefan, corrected the requirement!! The ask is external system sends an email to trigger an Appian process using company's SMTP i.e. @company.com rather than @companydev.appiancloud.com.
I think that you just need to request Appian to change the DNS name of your environment to your company's domain.
Let me check with Appian since this needs to be done for all Production and non Production environments; so what is the possible thing they can do in it. Thanks for your guidance Stefan!!
