hey, I am trying to sent email to a process model which gets triggered if it receives email as receive message event. I am using an on premise appian application. I tried to sent the emial using prcoessmodeluuid@domain but the mail is not getting sent. Also how to cofigure the domain for email. I already read the document but it wasnt of much help.

This is the documentation: https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/24.4/Sending_an_Email_Message_to_a_Process.html#starting-a-process-using-an-email
The domain is something you will have to discuss with your mail server admins and your Appian sys admins.
okay, thank you. Actually, I did read the document and followed the same steps but it didn't work. Will check with the admin team for mail server and appian sys. Thank you for the help.
In opposite to the Appian cloud, you need to connect your on premises Appian instance to your corporate mail server to be able to send email to your Appian system.
Hey thanks, I tried few changes and in the mail log i can see the mail is getting read but my process model is not getting triggered. What should I check?
All necessary steps are described in the documentation.

Hey, I tried this but it didn't work for me. Is there any way where I can use a plug in to read mail for outlook and trigger the process model?
Something like this?

But, this is not exactly the same thing. I suggest to open a support case with Appian to get your incoming email connectivity setup up correctly.
