I am utilizing the pdf doc from template smart service to generate a pdf that is a snapshot document of a form that has been filled out by a user on the site. The template I need to use in the smart service is an editable pdf template of the form that I then dynamically fill the inputs from the user into the template to generate the document.
The Problem: The produced PDF document from the smart service is still an editable version while I need it to be a read only.
Does anyone have a solution for converting the generated new PDF from the smart service from editable to read only before I send it to off site storage?

Using the PDF Tools plugin can flatten the PDF after generation.Fill PDF smart service with flatten: true parameter (fills AND flattens in one step). Pre-flatten template fields also works here.
